The Love of God

The Love of God is overwhelming when we really stop to consider. This concept has taken over my overthinking mind. We cannot get close to comprehending this Entity that holds a Force that promises that we are loved so greatly that absolutely knowing can get in His way.

We can only imagine.

We can reference the love we receive from others.

We can reference the ones we love.

We can accept death on a cross.

We can see the wonder of this beautiful world that was created for our pleasure.

But we can’t actually touch it… we can only feel a glimpse, like we cannot touch or feel the sun. We cannot get close to understanding the Father’s love for us.

We keep yearning.

We humans thrive to find comprehension and understanding.

With everything that we have learned from the past, and in the present we won’t have access to this complete knowing until we leave this world.

But God…

His design.

His authority

His power

His mercy, grace and love.

We must let go of our need for knowing in a conquering way.

We can yearn to know more but we must accept that we can’t know completely…

A place of no definitive answers

A paradox

An acceptance

An opportunity to trust, to draw closer to the truth.

Without this mystery we wouldn’t need faith

The only way to get to our God is through the pipeline of faith… all other paths are dead ends.

This is the way God invites us near, if we choose.

By acceptance of all of the circumstances that make no sense,

By moving through the anger that is a natural response to the violence that steals innocence,

By facing and then leaving the place of suffering, where we remain the victim

By stepping forth into the hope that arrives when we give up the need for the answers that satisfy,

By moving forth into a place of faith, where our trust of the Almighty plan is way greater than our need for answers,

We enter into a new knowing, a place that lacks resistance. A place to be held, with no more unnecessary need for control. A place where our souls are in the hands of the great Comforter, the One who wants to take all of our problems and pains and heal them completely.

We must choose to get out of bed when our loved one is no longer in this world.

We must choose to keep moving when something beyond our control has occurred and it rocks everything.

We must choose to shift when a chronic illness sets in, making the future look very different than what we anticipated.

We must choose surrender.

We must give God our fiat.

We must get used to the understanding that we are not in control and never have been.

Satan fights that losing battle endlessly because his pride won’t allow him to grasp this truth.

We humans are given a Holy Map.

We are given Holy influencers.

We are given Holy Spirits.

God has so many endless options of how we can grab hold of a Holy Thread and turn it into a Holy Rope of which we are tethered to truth while being led into a kingdom filled with abundance, grace, mercy, beauty, and love!

It’s where we all want to go!

It’s what our hearts yearn for!

It’s paradise beyond anything we can imagine.

We must grab hold of the Holy Thread. That is free will.

So many people fear it… God knows this and states over and over not to fear… because He knows that’s what keeps us stuck in the influence of the deceiver. We remain in the clutches of the enemy, caught in his web of lies, stuck clinging to the victim thread refusing to let go.

We have to leave it behind.

No looking back

No return to the old self

Destroying the trap of the one who spends his entire being working to keep us from knowing God better.

The evil one must be put in his place, called out for his deceptive ways by every single person, individually. That is God’s plan.

And this plan is specifically for you!

You are a child of God!

Reject any and all thoughts that tells you differently.

  • All are lies!

    Stay blessed Ya’all!
